I will rarely correct you about this in person, but “Laurel,” in my case, is pronounced with the accent on the second syllable. I’m half Filipino and half Chamorro, so I assume the pronunciation is Spanish in origin (cf. Spanish occupation) although I’ve never had this verified.

I do design and illustration as Apocalypse OK and work alongside a bunch of brilliant people at Weightshift and mStoner.

I “tweet” at a very tolerable frequency, and occasionally you can get glimpses of what I’m working on via Dribbble. I also maintain…
